Mayne Special Needs is a North West based business providing a range of services to those involved in the provision of specialist equipment for children and young adults with additional needs. With strong partnerships and shared skills with equipment suppliers and likeminded agencies, involved in the design and manufacture of specialist equipment for children, Mayne aims to provide high quality products and aftersales service. With the continued squeeze on funding across the board, Mayne has been successfully supplying quality products to schools, CDC's, Purchasing Authorities, Councils, Private Clients and others.

Working closely with our partners, Mayne combines industry experience of over 40 years in the children's disability sector. We pride ourselves in working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other professionals in the traditional way of assessment and provision where required. Our aim is to provide excellent products with a fully rounded backup service, based on knowledge, experience and strong ethical values. Our experience as advisors to and working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Technical Instructors, Carers, Teachers, Classroom Assistants, Nursery Staff, Parents and others encompasses a vast product knowledge.

A large part of our work involves the recycling and re-issue of paediatric specialist equipment.

We often help families schools, therapists and others to sell items of no longer needed equipment.

Also we aim to source and supply an item of equipment where there is limited funds to purchase new. The idea being that we prevent equipment going into landfill, service, check, clean appropriately and work with therapists and other professionals during the provision of the equipment. Ultimately we recycle and provide an item of equipment to the end user (child/young adult) at a much reduced price to that of new.

Currently we are developing new products for nursery aged children, working alongside. We are looking forward to providing a wide range of high quality products offering value for money and great aftersales support throughout the life of the equipment.
